This project aims to strengthen the resilience and protection of the most vulnerable persons with disabilities and their families in the Bekaa Valley (Baalbek and Bar Elias), whether refugees or from host communities.
Within the framework of monitoring the challenges of displaced girls and women with disabilities, the Lebanese Union for Persons with Motor Disabilities team in the Central Bekaa held a consultation meeting with a number of displaced women, listened to them and documented the challenges they face.
Supported by MPDL and funded by Asturias, the LUPD worked to strengthen resilience and improve livelihoods for over 150 women and girls with disabilities from different nationalities.
