LUPD’s goal is to ensure that women with disabilities have equal access to protection services, resources, and opportunities to report violence and discrimination.
Samar Al-Tfeili, a colleague from LUPD, contributed to preparing the report. It focuses on a critical gap in the protection of persons with disabilities and highlights the disproportionate challenges they face in accessing safety, shelter, and essential services.
Demands included the withdrawal of the Israeli enemy, the return of prisoners, support for the right of displaced people to return to their towns and villages, extending state authority over them, backing the displaced, and speeding up reconstruction.

As part of Ensan Hope’s new Story Garden project, they organized an awareness session titled “How to Support and Communicate with Persons with Disabilities During Crises and Wars.” The session was delivered by the LUPD, providing valuable guidance on inclusive communication, respectful engagement, and effective support for persons with disabilities during emergencies.
