Access Kitchen

The Lebanese Union for Persons with Disabilities launched the Access Kitchen project in June 2022.

Access Kitchen introduces a new concept of social inclusion through the pillars it uses to achieve its goals, which are as follows:

  1. More than 60 women empowered through job opportunities and training
  2. Prepare home-cooked meals with high standards of quality and safety
  3. More than 260 meals distributed daily to more than 60 families
  4. Producing daily meals for sale to ensure the sustainability of Access Kitchen
  5. Maximizing the impact of the kitchen on the community, especially on people with mobility impairments, by opening branches in areas outside of Greater Beirut

The project is supported by UN Women, UNICEF and the Embassy of Austria in Beirut.
