Main Activities
Parent Training

Train 3 groups of parents in a course of 8 sessions per group on the following four main axes:
Disability and Rehabilitation
This axis includes 4 sessions focusing on the types of disabilities associated with children whose parents are involved in the rehabilitation process, the role of parents in the rehabilitation and how we can transform our way of life at home to establish a sustainable rehabilitation place for the child, as well as how to provide care in a safe and correct manner at home that protects the caregiver and the disabled child and helps them to develop, and the role of play in the rehabilitation process.
Rights and Integration
This axis is centered around a session on the rights of children with disabilities, the importance of inclusion in school and encouraging parents to implement inclusion.
Family and the Social Role
These sessions are dedicated to introducing the parental roles and skills that must be implemented at home to reach child engagement without discrimination, whether positive or negative. (One or two sessions)
Protection from Violence
This session is usually dedicated to the caregiver, who is often the mother, where there is a session at their request that covers gender-based violence and reproductive health. (One or two sessions)
These sessions increase the knowledge of caregivers, improve their mental health by sharing each other’s experiences where they feel collaborative and involved, increase social and parenting skills, and deal with children’s behaviors at home, especially children with disabilities.
Treatment Services
After conducting a series of individual and group activities to inform parents about the community rehabilitation program and encourage parents to follow their children from this segment, work begins in the office clinics.
Physical Therapy
Services are provided to 100 disabled people from the Bekaa region, with an average of 10 sessions per person.
Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy
