Community Rehabilitation Project
The center works to meet the needs of disabled and non-disabled refugees in the Bekaa Valley, and conducts assessment visits to Syrian refugee camps to evaluate the conditions of disabled people.
Integrating Gender-Based Violence Issues into LUPD’s Intervention Program
Develop specific strategies for primary prevention of violence against women and girls with disabilities; raise awareness of the risks and signs of abuse against them at the community level; promote change in social norms by addressing perceptions of disability; and empower action teams.
