Within the framework of the partnership with the International Rescue Committee (IRC), the Lebanese Federation for Persons with Motor Disabilities (LFMPD) implemented a training session for the protection team in the Arsal branch, on mechanisms to support persons with disabilities in community protection policies.
Develop specific strategies for primary prevention of violence against women and girls with disabilities; raise awareness of the risks and signs of abuse against them at the community level; promote change in social norms by addressing perceptions of disability; and empower action teams.
