NAIU is an umbrella association of 126 national and regional public organizations of people with disabilities, including those created and managed directly by people with disabilities, legal representatives of people with disabilities, and parents raising children with disabilities. Their activities are spread at the national and local levels in different regions of Ukraine.

NAIU is a leading, influential and powerful organization, a leader in the formation and implementation of effective state policy in the field of the rights of people with disabilities with a high corporate culture, professionalism and responsibility.

We are part of the international civil society movement of people with disabilities and members of the European Disability Forum .

We cooperate with international organizations, UN agencies, the UNHCR Humanitarian Cluster Coordination System, and humanitarian organizations to advocate for the rights of people with disabilities in recovery and rapid humanitarian response.
