The LUPD’s Media Unit LUPD and the My Right (Haqqi) campaign – the national campaign for the realization of political rights for persons with disabilities in Lebanon, published an awareness guide on inclusive standards in facilitating the voting process for persons with disabilities, entitled “Respect our Right to Vote.”

The guide addresses the disabled voter, the candidate and their delegates, the head of the polling station and their assistants, the public press and reporters. The guide gathers inclusive standards for an independent voting process that preserves the rights and dignity of voters with disabilities on election day, addressing the voter, the candidate and their delegates, the polling station chief and their assistants, the public press and reporters, international and local observers, and the citizen voter without disabilities. All relevant legal articles are attached in appendices. The guide was prepared and edited by Imadeddine Raef, under the supervision of the Director General of Programs at the LUPD, Sylvana Lakkis, and directed by Ihab Al-Asaad. The guide consists of 32 pages of a medium size.
