The Lebanese Union for Persons with Motor Disabilities, represented by social worker Heba El Abdeen, participated in the meeting of the National Eye Center in Abra – East Saida, which was organized with the participation of Minister of Social Affairs Hector Hajjar and MP Osama Saad, and was attended by a number of representatives of the civil and civil societies in Saida.

At the meeting, Ms. Abdeen stressed the need to give importance to the issues of people with disabilities in the work programs of the institutions. The Union received requests from representatives of the participating associations to follow the meeting with bilateral sessions with the Union’s team in the south to formulate a joint work program aimed at serving all segments of society.
