The team of the “Tourism for All in Lebanon Project” discussed with the management of the National Center for Development and Rehabilitation the frameworks of cooperation and coordination to implement a number of joint activities, in a meeting held at the Center on June 2, 2017, in the presence of the Director of the Center, Weam Hamdan, which aimed to introduce the inclusive tourism project and agree on a mechanism to target people with disabilities in the “Sizobel” association, after agreeing with the association on this.

In the meeting, which was attended by colleagues Silvana Al-Laqis and Nada Elazir, the activities of the Lebanese Wheelchair Union and the Tourism for All project were introduced, as well as the mechanism of work in the regions implementing the project. Hamdan introduced the activity of the center and the mini-hotel, which includes training people with disabilities on hotel and tourism services.
