The third issue of “Inclusive Development” was published in May 2011, and in its editorial, Engineer Bashar Abdel Samad addressed the topic of “the right to access and use public spaces, which is the key to integrating people with disabilities into society.” The issue included monitoring tools to achieve an inclusive built environment. The issue included monitoring tools to achieve an inclusive built environment, and Engineer Ahmed Ezzeldin discussed the role of the local community in monitoring to promote the creation of an inclusive environment. Sumaya Louhsen presented the efforts of the monitoring groups of the Inclusive Development and Self-Advocacy Project during the second phase of this project.
